Holiday at home (Alena 8B)

 At the end of December 2022 until the beginning of January 2023, I had a 2-week odd semester holiday. During the holidays I didn't go anywhere because I preferred to stay at home. While I was at home, I did a lot of activities such  as washing clothes, washing dishes, watering the flowers, and helping my mum cook in the kitchen.

It was very nice during the holidays that I could be at home and felt at home to be able to help my parents ease the housework, besides that I got valuable experiences and lessons, namely how to cook and recipes for various dishes that I got. there is vegetable lodeh and fried tempeh mendoan soup and many more. it's all because there is time off so doing it is not in a hurry.

In addition to being able to help and ease the burden on my parents, I also enjoy this holiday by exercising badminton or playing bicycle in the morning. In the afternoon always watch tv. and had time to take part in various activities in the home environment, namely sweeping the environment and cooking liwet rice and eating with neighbours. the most exciting thing in the semester break yesterday was the turn of the year 2022 to 2023. in that activity with various events filled with brothers gathered at home. the activity was filled with friendship and eating together with a menu of kampung chicken bakakak It's nice to feel that I and the big family can get together and can eat together.

Likewise, on New Year's Eve the atmosphere in my neighbourhood was very lively, some even played firecrackers, played latto-latto and cooked liwet rice. Thankfully Ahamdullilah these activities did not cause anything and instead made the neighbours feel very happy, how beautiful it is to live as neighbours with them so that it becomes a cool and peaceful atmosphere, this semester vacation is very meaningful to me because in addition to family gatherings, it is also filled with various useful activities that can make provisions later when they grow up. the experience is the most valuable lesson because it does not require special education and costs in terms of getting skills, for example cooking in the kitchen and routine house cleaning activities.
